Come out to the park to enjoy the night sky while the moon is not up to wash out the stars. Hikers may see some late Geminid meteors along with the usual evening satellites. Participants will earn 2.5 miles toward the “70 Mile Challenge.” If it is too cloudy to see stars, the hike will go a bit farther and try to look for owls; canceled if raining.

There is no charge for the programs (unless otherwise noted), but there is a $7 parking fee at both entrances to Sycamore Grove Park. Donations are also requested to support the program ($3 per person suggested).
